A man does such and such of Sins

From him, from Ibn Mahboub, from Muhammad bin al-Qasim, from Dawud, from Ya'qub bin Shu'ayb who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah (a.s), ‘A man does such and such, so he does not leave anything except that he does it, and he recognizes this Command.’ So he (a.s.) said: ‘This one, there is hope for him, and the Nasib there is no hope for him. And if it is as you are saying it to be, he would not exit from the world until God causes something to overcome him which would be an expiation for his sins by it, be it poverty, or illness.’ [al-Mahassin, Volume 1, Page 276]
