Praise of our Sahaba by Imam al-Sadiq (as)

From Abi 'Abdillah (as) who said on the word of Allah, "And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy.(2)" He (as) said, Those are Hamza, Ja'far, 'Obeyda, Salman, Abu Dharr, al-Miqdad Ibn al-Aswad, 'Ammar they were guided to Amir al-Muminin (as), and on His word, "but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts" it mean Amir al-Muminin, "and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience.(3)" The first, the second, the third.

الحسين بن محمد، عن معلى بن محمد، عن محمد بن اورمة، عن علي بن حسان عن عبدالرحمن بن كثير، عن أبي عبدالله (عليه السلام) في قوله تعالى: " وهدوا إلى الطيب من القول وهدوا إلى صراط الحميد (2) " قال: ذاك حمزة وجعفر وعبيدة وسليمان و أبوذر والمقداد بن الاسود وعمار هدوا إلى أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) وقوله: " حبب إليكم الايمان وزينه في قلوبكم (يعني أمير المؤمنين) وكره إليكم الكفر والفسوق و والعصيان (3) " الاول والثاني والثالث.

Abi 'Abdillah (as) here is Imam al-Sadiq (as) through 'Abd al-Rahman.

The first, is Abu Bakr.
The second, is Omar.
The third, is Othman.
