And by this chain, from Abaan bin Uthman, from Ismail Al-Basri who said: I heard Aba Abdallah [al-Sadiq] (a.s.) saying: ‘Can you all sit in a place where you can narrate our narration, say whatsoever you like, and distance yourselves from whosoever you like, and befriend whosoever you like?’ I said, ‘Yes’. He (a.s.) said: ‘Is life anything other than this?’ [Rawdat al-Kafi, Volume 8, Page 229]
292 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن أبان بن عثمان، عن إسماعيل البصري (1) قال:
سمعت أبا عبد الله (عليه السلام) يقول: تقعدون في المكان فتحدثون وتقولون ما شئتم وتتبرؤون ممن شئتم وتولون من شئتم؟ قلت: نعم، قال: وهل العيش إلا هكذا.
